Campaign for Leovich Landing
“Leovich Landing” is a 4.1 acre developable lot in Oxford  Massachusetts. Purchasing this property for public use will provide:

●A trailhead for the proposed French River Greenway
●A cartop paddling access point on the French River “Blueway”
● A unique location for study and enjoyment of nature
Leovich Landing is located at 52 Dudley Road, where the road crosses the French River. It is one of very few places where a public road, the French River Greenway route, and a paddling access point are co-located.

Leovich  Landing is an opportunity to advance the the vision of the French River as a resource to be enjoyed by community residents and visitors. A strong,  committed partnership of conservation and recreation interests has been formed to purchase this property, through a combination of fundraising and grant writing:

●The Dudley Conservation Land Trust will own the property.
●The Oxford Conservation Commission will hold the Conservation Restriction.
●The French River Connection will provide stewardship of the land.
●An Oxford citizens’ committee is responsible for fundraising.

Please help purchase this property by making a donation. We need to raise $70,000  prior to April 30, 2009. Make checks payable to the Dudley Conservation Land Trust and mail to: 169 Old Webster Road, Oxford MA 01540
